Technical:
Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% E.C.
Features:
- Profex Super is a combination product for the control of the bollworm complex.
- It has intense contact, stomach, and ovicidal action.
- It has excellent translaminar action; when sprayed on the upper surface of the leaf, it immediately percolates down to the lower surface of the leaf.
- It is absorbed readily in plant cells and thus not affected by rainfall
Mode of Action:
It is an organophosphate and synthetic insecticide; it works by potent inhibition of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase; after feeding on a treated plant or crawling over a treated leaf, the pest is first paralyzed and then quickly dies.
